Hi guys,, anyone untrested in two tickets to the British superbike weekend, as I am not a racing fan ,, it was a gift from my kids for Christmas and I can not change it as they did not keep the recipt They bought it from Boots , the gift receipt and voucher are there to redeem tickets,, but no cash receipt so I cant exchange it or get my money back,,, Am looking for £50 if anybody is intrested ,,cheers guys

You don't usually need a receipt to obtain a refund as long as you have proof of purchase, if it was purchased on a card, a bank statement showing the transaction would suffice. If it was cash and you have a date of purchase, Boots should be able to audit trail the specific product code for that item, they won't have sold that many so should find the transaction easily enough, pop back to Boots, ask for a duty manager, explain the problem and blink a lot. Haven't been back to boots yet, not any time , from what the box says there are 4 locations between April and October, I assume you choose the location you want and they send the tickets,,
Locations are
Brands hatch KENT
Cadwell park Lincs
Oulton park Cheshire
Snetterton Norfolk
Dates I am unsure off

are they weekend (camping). 1 race at oulton is 3 days in april. if you have no joy returning them and i can camp for the weekend then i would be very interested.

just been on the site and camping is extra, have a good go at returning them. you used to camp free if you had a weekend ticket. sorry im out.  |

OK mate no problem.. Went on to ticket site and they seem to have all gone anyway... So that's the excuse I will use when I go back to boots...cheers anyway .... Mark

Update, went back to boots,pleaded me little heart out ,said the race I wanted to go to had sold out,,a little tear in my eye as I said my son had lost receipt. And was a Christmas pressie... Gave me a full refund and said they had problems before with these gifts... Didn't say that last time (spoke to spotty Saturday kids last time ) so a happy bunny and 80 notes in my bank account,,, better draw it out before its spotted by the wife...ha ha?  |
