Took advantage of the sunshine today to tackle the grimy interior in the Daimler. I know I should have been sorting out the SD, but I am waiting on some parts from Silvers and delivery of a new battery - should be here this week!!! I don't think it has come up too badly - but it does need some specialist treatment and a spot of re-colouring: Before: After: Been sniffing a lot of NOS lately too!!! Jaguar have a Heritage department where you can find quite a fair bit of NOS still available. This is just over 200 quids worth - a mixture of parts and fittings to refurbish the rear bumper and new fasteners, clips and screws to replace rusty or broken originals. It gets a bit addictive this 'tidying up' lark!!!! original grotty boot: refurbished boot: Cant wait for the bits to arrive for the SD - haven't ridden a bike since last summer!!!!

That's brushed up well. Looks a pleasant place to sit whilst wafting along.

I've just come across this thread. Love those old Jags. I had a 3.8 S type back in the 60's. Way ahead of their time. Grace, space and pace! Lovely motor. Enjoy. I'm using a Rover 75 at present (what a surprise!) but a Jag may appear on the shopping list in the future. Mike
