I'd be surprised if Crouchy isn't going to this......just down the road from him. He is a dark horse though...sniffing out the NOS. Talking about nos, I was looking in Germany ebay, and nos painted with decals petrol tank for 500 euros......!!

This SD was still there today- at £1495. Seemed to have done only around 4k miles and only 3 years 1981-84 taxed and on the road. Couldn't get close to it to either investigate further or even photograph though- it was being used as a coat hanger for stuff and almost guarded by the stallholders. I think a genuine CB250NB, but despite the low useage and miles a shame all traces of the original exhaust and a couple of other parts gone..

Very little SD stuff there Dave, spotted a front brake lever, wheelhub cover and other common bits- nothing worth grabbing. I wonder if its all bought up as far as bikeshows go.
Great day wandering around in the sunshine though. But not a big show. If you take away the 2 halls with the scooter stuff, and the scores of stalls selling cheap tools, then the guy selling super staysharp drills, the guy selling no fat cooking pans, the guy offering to clean your specs, the guy selling low water usage turbo shower handsets, the guy offering to polish your shoes..... not a lot bike related.
I didn't take many photos due to the above- I will have a look....

That SD was unchained and moved from the van mid afternoon yesterday, thought it had been sold.Is that a fair price to pay for a SD similar history/mileage?

I`m glad I stayed here then, I`ve got my chrome sorted and ready to take to the chromers, just one of the headers is a bit rough, i hope it will clean up enough to chrome ok. I`m going to let Agbrigg do the job, I just hope he hasn`t got a 20 week waiting list, I `m going to Leeds on Tuesday so will drop it off then.
