You missed out BSW, Mark, none of your bikes got Whitworth threads? I've used stainlessmiddleton.co.uk for fastenings - he's been going donkey's years, specialises in Brit bikes, but does metric as well as BS, UN & Cycle threads Not the cheapest, but it's quality stuff & he has metric bolts with a slight domed head of the correct size - 12mm for M8 & 14mm for M10, not the 13mm & 17mm heads used industrially - which look much better in visible places like caliper & engine mounting bolts.

Ha good idea, saves having zillions of different spanners! I worked for an American computer manufacturer & for years had a plentiful supply of stainless nuts & bolts. They used UNF heads, but the threads fitted nothing else I ever came across. Still, I used them whenever I needed a nut & a bolt for a fixing. Run out of nuts now, unfortunately! Merry Christmas, Mark.
