Hi N. No.2 is quite a difficult question, so I will give my take on an answer as I had the same dilema. I did not know anyone was making replica collector boxes at present. One or two suppliers had them advertised but had no stock. I bought mine from e-bay Germany. It was in good condition and cost me about £65. New old stock ones seem to turn up from time to time, but will normally cost over £100. Apparently some genuine ones were made for the de-tuned versions of the SD and have a different internal design so you need to be a bit careful about the one you are buying. You need to verify the part number stamped on it. Then there are the H type aftermarket collector boxes, as I understand it these are just 2 pipes with a rectangular section joining them together and do not have internal baffles. Some have said that these upset the performance a bit, but I have no experience of these. That's my best shot at an answer. Mike.

tyres are such a personal choice, I use Bridgestones, and if I can not get them, I will use Avon. At the Moment on my SD, I'm using Avon Regards, Paul.

3: I have Metzelers on my 400 at the minute tubeless, but with a tube in them, as I don`t think the tube type are available now.

Aim for Hi Level if you can on the silencers.
Echo Wazzbo on the tyres if tubeless.....but if not and they need to be tube type.... go for the Dunlop TT (retro pattern).......by the sounds of it you are going to need deep pockets and deep arms to match....why? Because you mentioned the 'original' word.
