Slacken off the tensioner nut on the back of the barrel which will allow you to pull up the tensioner - lock it back in place and then (hopefully!) the pin will come out .
Unless I've misunderstood the tensioner must be very "bent" and the chain worn as they are normally well proud of the top of the head iirc.

the head has to come off to remove that clevis pin, you have undone all the head bolts and the top cam chain tensioner "bolt" ?? you sure the head aint "stuck" to the barrels??
you have removed the rocker arm carriers, slipped off the cam chain from the sprocket and undone the sprocket, to =feed the cam =shaft thru the sprocket, yes??
merry xmas, take your time and study the manaul before progressing. why you taking the head off, oil leaks at the front??
see the manual,

The head will clear the clevis pin - I was unsure when I replaced the head if it was binding but it does clear the tunnel . The tensioner does need to be released from the back of the head though .
