Looks interesting. I wonder why they specify 'off road' motorcycles? I've pondered this everytime we've been away on the bikes. Other than SD meets, we use the CB500 & Virago - one tubed, the other tubeless. In the end, I've just done nothing & we've got away with it........

I have a similar product in my cb500 ian, for tubeless tyres. this just caught my eye as its for for tubes.
I`ve been having a scout around t`internet and there are a few folks using it on road bikes, I have no qualms about using it on the road, I`m going to put some in the sd`s I think. Its not so bad putting a temporary plug in a tubeless tyre to get you home but patching a tube is a begger of a job on the roadside, and having to carry tyre levers etc is not really an option unless you have a top box.

I carry a can of holts puncture repair stuff on my work bike, not had to use it yet, I bet its messy when you change the tyre, and as i do my own I`d have it to clean up.lol

Rich's stuff seems to be ok for both tubed & tubeless, so that could be interesting - would save me getting a bigger top box

I've used Slime quite a bit on trail/rally bikes and it generally does a good job - particularly with thorns which is the most common puncture on the lanes . If you get a cut or pinch flat you just get a lot of goo all over the place when you get the tube out ! I use it on my MTB too , sometimes the tyre goes down a bit but pumpng it up and riding often seals it and usually gets me home . Ooh , I am the neghbour of the beast............ post count wise

Have not used this stuff in years! You can get unlucky and have balance issues. Tubeless causes fun aswell because some places refused to work on tyres filled with it. Like the idea, in tubes if you installed and went for a good spin afterwards. Unlike some that fitted and parked.I don't worry about punctures because the mot centre, not that far from my house lol..

I used to use tubeless tyre sealant, but that does tend to corrode your rims... Should't be much of an issue with tubes though.

The sealant came today so I read the instructions & it seems it is just a temporary repair as it states after 50 km you should get it mended ! Damm I thought it was going to be sorted today I will have to wait until after Xmas now as us posties are flat out at moment & no time to get wheel to garage
