What is the highest mileage Super Dream on here?
Several years ago now, someone local to me was selling a 250 Super Dream with 195000 miles on the clock. He said it was a bit smokey but still ran well. Original engine apparently.

195k miles ?
Gee whizz, that is high. One thing to be careful of is when people say '235,000' on the clock (for example on Gumtree) is that often a look at the odometer shows an actual recorded 23,500 and the seller has accidentally added an extra digit in the figures, accidental of course as it is to the bike's detriment.
But if that 195k is known to be genuine then I'd say that this is certainly the highest mileage I've heard about for a CB250/400N......by about 110k.

Recently sold one with 60,000+ on clock (can't remember exact mileage )it had been used to commute to work till when I bought it.
On other hand what is the lowest mileage on a Superdream known on here?

Both mine have just under 50,000 I expect there are a few with delivery miles only somewhere I wish I had one in my shed

Dave now has the lowest I know- his red CB250N "Time Capsule" had 3629 on the dials when he stole it off me....

There is a silver 250 kicker in the Bolton area (owned by a nice chap called Mike) which I don't think has ever been started - from memory he got it from the crate which was stolen back in 1979 from a Honda dealer - then recovered and kept in a Police warehouse for nigh on 27 years - then sold off at auction......Mike became its owner shortly after this.

That story rings some bells- was it up for sale a while back?
My little CB200 has 719 miles on the clocks and Japanese air in the tyres....

I agree Terry good to have you back Dan , my sd as 49,000 but that's definitely not the right mileage as the bike had the wrong clocks fitted when I bought it so I got the right model clocks off ebay  ? I have,nt got many old mot slips so I guess I,'ll never know ! |
