Thought this is worth sharing...bought these these 'lobster' waterproof gloves this week from Aldi, bargain £7.99. What a difference from my usual bike gloves...fingers warm as toast, I'll be wearing these on the winter rides from now on.

They look like they,d do the job, I bought a pair of lined mitts with a trigger finger ( made for Russian army) I had to get the wife to remove the trigger finger as that got in the way of the clutch/brake lever , but they are toasty very warm, I,'ve got heated grips which I don't rate as their only any good whilst your hands are fully around them and really need handlebar mitts to help keep wind off , but the army mitts much better , a bit awkward on switches but great otherwise.....

Are they comfortable? They look like they'd irritate the heck out of me! I find the best thing is not riding when it's that cold!
