f*****g fireworks, should be a law against letting them off,oh there is I forgot just unenforceable.Every Tom Dick and Harry=f**kWIT seems to think it's clever to get home from pub and let some off in the garden,I'd stick red hot pokers up every one of their arses if I could track them down.No I don't like fireworks either

Actualy I do like fireworks, the bigger/louder the better. But should be at a controlled display at a specific time when we KNOW our dogs will be scared stiff and we can do some preparation in our case we have to tranquilize our Patterdale with prescribed drug on other hand our Spaniel is not bothered,it's known as the firework "season" round here and it lasts October15th to November 10th and Christmas/New year the random fireworks let off usualy when pubs close are worst, thats when I get me poker warmed up lol Mind you kids don't do Guy Fawkes now do they? It's just bonfire night, don't suppose it's politicly correct to burn a catholic anymore(my wife is catholic and I love her, honest)It's all trick or treat/halloween these days(a Pagan event I believe but could be wrong)

Used to love firework night back in the day......1985 was the peak for me.
Had a slightly older mate that made his own fireworks in his shed......and despite one that blew up in both our faces, still did not kill the enjoyment for me.

My enjoyment of fireworks peaked around '65/6. Does anyone remember bangers called Cannons and another one was called 3,2,1 zero or something like that . There was a thing in our village at the time that to prove yourself tough you had to hold a banger in your hand until it went off, we all used to do it till one lad had one blow the end out and made a right mess of his hand, that put paid to that stunt.;D
