Where exactly, should the plate on the front of the seat sit, by the tank. On the rubber, below it ....  ? With the seat side clips (which do not seem to be adjustable) fastened, the seat only just reaches the rubber on the back of the tank??? Mike |

The tab on the front of the seat locates first under everything- rubber and tank bracket. Then the back of the seat clips down to lock the seat in place. So front in and then back- not the other way around. The tab does not take the weight of the front of the seat- maybe you are just resting it on top of the tank rubber- in which case it may be bent upwards now. Sometimes the tab needs a bit of careful tweaking to locate properly- more often to stop the seat front rattling about...  |
