Hi Peeps, Just bought a 1979 (T reg) CB250N (needs a bit of work) after a few years not having a motorcycle. So far it's running on one cylinder ( occasionally two) so I'm going to strip the carbs and give them a good clean as it has been sitting a good while. The starter switch has snapped off around the base of the push section, so I'll have to be doing a spot of epoxying or looking for a replacement. Some electrical gremlins (bulbs out and some strange goings on with indicators - earthing probably). Lots of cleaning and polishing to do, so that should keep me going through the early part of the winter evenings. Pics to follow, no doubt with lots of questions. My last Honda was a 10 Year anniversary Edition of the CB750 so there are lots of similarities. Cheers for now, Mike

Hi Mike, welcome along. Good luck with the bike - those sound like typical old SD problems, so you shouldn't have too much trouble.

Welcome retrobarmy.
Not seeing a lot of 79 T reg model evidence in your photos TBH? Looks mostly like an NA with the non-kicker engine, T bar tailpiece support and original comstars, but these bikes have usually been through a lot in their lifetimes. Frame and engine numbers would clear things up?...
