I think Nick still has his saggy old Bagpuss, although he does not refer to it as that for some reason.....

Most of us I reckon have got or had at some point a faster more modern bike than a superdream , for me having a superdream is an absolute joy it,s not the tidiest or original of bikes but for me it,s an escape , whether I,m tinkering or out on a ride it gives me a bit of time to myself and I love the thing to bits ....

The SD looks miles better than the other bikes in the article, as in it looks like what a motorbike. I read that article a few years ago, is that our Nick (Fungo) by any chance ?

For me the Superdream is where i started (on the road) and will be where i end with motorbikes. I have had 23 of these but The first and my present one mean the most. My 1st carried me safely and reliably ove 70000 miles whilst in the RAF. My current SD was a one i gave to my uncle but sadly he died of cancer and we his family know that the thought of this SD being in his posession and the possibility of him using it kept him going a lot longer than we thought he might. For me the SD is nothing but pleasure and unreplaceable memories. Sorry guys but the SD has brought a huge amount of happines to me !
