I have to admit Dicky I had a bit of a chuckle when I read this, as I was reading it I was thinking that's terrible and then I got to the bit where you said it was your OWN wife and I had to chuckle. Perhaps next time you'll do the dishes before you head off with the wife behind you Glad your OK and the damage to the bike was only minor it's a pity the car is going to be a bit more expensive to fix I hope your going to milk the fact she tried to kill you Dicky should at least get you out of the hoovering for a while

Just trying to get the car sorted now, we have a friend of a friend who does bodywork & is going to give us a price to sort bumper out as that took most of the damage Fog light still works but mounting bracket broke I thought The water bottle had broke but lucky it was just the electric pump smashed, I tried to order a new one from Ford & they wanted £61.99 I managed to find a replacement on eBay for £7.99 delivered massive difference outrageous really ! Trying to pay for work ourselves as there is a £250 excess on wife's car & also premium will go up every year as soon as you make a claim, so lucky my bike is undamaged URL=http://s1310.photobucket.com/user/Richardstreet1963/media/image_zpsrpr8jun6.jpeg.html] [/URL]

Joking aside - are you sure your bike was not structurally damaged? ......and that it was not just an apprentice (in the job for an hour before he quit) giving that report?

Joking aside - are you sure your bike was not structurally damaged? ......and that it was not just an apprentice (in the job for an hour before he quit) giving that report? Well I'm having to trust the judgment of the mechanic but he was about 50 & after they did the recall check (which found out mine needs a update & is booked in for next wendesday) they did safety check on bike & found no damage whatsoever, also it rides totally as it did before so I'm as sure as I can be that it's straight, I did 120mph just to check (closed road) I'm happy & trust it. All the force went into rear wheel & fiesa front is very soft as are all modern cars, really lucky no damage apart from those slight marks on crankcase which I've touched in with satin paint, just the car to sort now & got to work out how the wife can pay me back
