Anybody had dealings with Zenith Insurance.?
They have sent me a letter that says I must report any accident within 1 Hour of the event and at the latest within 24 hours. I have never had this with any other insurance company I have been with.
I would be pleased to hear any feedback on this company, good or bad. Maybe I should avoid them next year?
Your thoughts.

Is the reporting of accidents in this time frame not a standard thing?
I am unsure why one would leave it longer than 24h to report a smash.

One of my work colleagues had a small accident in his van and did not report it in the 24 hour period & was removed from driving company van for 6 months as punishment so it must be a requirement from insurance company.

I think the law now is you have to give your details to anyone else involved at the scene- used to be only if anyone was injured or property/vehicles damaged, but if not then report to police within 24 hours. Insurance companies are just aligning with that policy I think.....

Thanks very much, gentlemen. I was not aware of many of the requirements that were mentioned, I am much better informed now. I was beginning to think that there was a hidden agenda here, I guess it does no good to get too paranoid!
