They've nobbled 5 bikes at over 130 mph at the last report.

It's just the tactics they employ which really annoys me if they put the same effort into chasing real crime it would probably be more beneficial to the general public. In most places now if you report a theft, burglary or something similar the reaction time is about a fortnight.

I call it a crime mark, the buggers want nicking for riding/driving at crazy speeds with no thought for others, they want banning.
It`s the fact that they will nick a sensible rider/ driver that has gone a few mph over the limit as well that annoys me, and the fact that these cameras are often on the open roads where going a bit over the limit is not like doing it in a built up area.
If they pulled you over and gave you a good b*llocking like they used to do in the past and made you see the error of your ways people would have more respect for them than the delivery of a summons dropping through the letterbox for going 10mph over the limit, that wipes out any respect I may have had for the law

In the last year seven lives have been lost most just kids thrugh speed in and around doncaster I nerley lost my life through idiots chasing each other and you do not call it crime I am very disappointed Mark in my post I said it's their tactics that annoy me most, I have no problem with people being prosecuted for speeding. If you go over the speed limit then that's the chance you take. I sympathise with anyone who has lost a love one as the result of an accident or been injured like yourself but in a lot of cases speed isn't the only factor in the accident, as you said yourself the d**kheads who knocked you of the bike were racing in a built up area which is madness and the book should have been thrown at them. But and I can only speak for my part of the country where the siting of speed traps / cameras has very little to do with preventing accidents and all to do with the number of people they will catch as Dave said a few miles over the limit. I'm sure we all see really poor / dangerous driving every day especially when riding the bike but the police aren't out on the road to spot this they are too busy hiding in hedges trying to nick as many people as they possibly can. I think they need to do more to target bad and dangerous driving. I would say most people on here speed while driving / riding some maybe just a few miles over some much more, I know when I'm out on the bike on rural roads I may not always adhere to the national speed signs, but I would generally in built up areas or where there is a lower limit. I don't feel that makes me a criminal Mark. I do not mean to offend anyone just expressing my opinion.
