And that was it outside- there seemed to be less crappy tat laid out on the grass than usual, but there was the usual sellers with pretty battered and rusty bikes for sale. the bikes that never made it into a dealers showroom or even to Ebay. But they seem to sell.... Inside as by 3pm it calms down a bit. You always remember your first love and I saw this beauty from up on the balcony. Turns out it is actually up for a raffle prize so pass me the ticket book please? But all the guy on the stand could go on about was how this was "THE BIKE ONCE OWNED BY JAMES MAY". So what.... Did you know - James May owned this bike?

I found one of these boxes in a "Honda Rummage" sale box on a scruffy stand, thought what use would only one set be and then found another in the next box. "How much for these, then?" says I. "Dunno mate- what are they?" says the guy. (I think covering for the real guys lunch break). "I think they are piston rings" says I. "Oh, how about 4 quid then?" says the guy. "Hmm- would you take 3 as I am buying two?" says I. "Go on then" says the guy. I pay quickly. Very quickly. "Go on then- what are they off then?" says the guy. "Oh- I think Honda Dream/SuperDream" says I. "OH!"" says the guy. I quickly leave.

This tiddler was outside strangely enough- in the area where all the dodgy looking bikes were at. It looked really nice!

It is nice bit several things wrong with it. I might take my blue SS to stafford next year and maybe the A100 too. Looks like there were some nice bikes there.

I go to this show with my mate who's 9 years younger than me and he tells me all I need to know about the ""tiddlers"" as I was too busy riding big Triumphs in the 70s to take notice of them,we wander round all day looking at everything and love doing it.My mate and I were on our way to this show in 1999 and a car took him out on a roundabout taking his left leg off,he still rides owning many bikes

He was after £2500, must have upped the price a little. prices are on the up for SS50s which can be seen as a good and bad thing. I'd love another but just can't justify the costs. For the money that guy wants for the 4speeder I'd want it better - wrong seat (euro spec), pattern mudguards, exhaust downpipe shields missing, wrong shocks (pattern cub type), wrong pedals, FS1E pedal boot, hubs painted not lacquered alloy, tank badges should be white...
