Anyone here know much about V-Twins? I guess that 90 degree angle V-Twins like Ducati & Some others would use two separate carbs, but do all close angle V-Twins such as Harleys, Honda Shadow and cruisers in general use one carb and a splitter pipe?

Fuel injection on 'em all now I hadn't thought of fuel injectors, but what about the old ones, one or two carbs?

Hardleys used one carb and they are reckoned to run better this set up opposed to injection many owners converting back to carbs!as they run better and more importantly sound better .Don't know about other V engines but would guess with a cruiser style high performance not required so one carb would do

I like the idea that say if the computer failed in a modern bike, then maybe it could be converted back to a carb, I mean basic low performance bikes like small to medium sized single cylinder or twins. I'd great pleasure in swinging a modern cpu by it's cables a few times before lashing it over a hedge.
