Who in their right mind would think that was a good idea ? As it states they are a tripping hazard for pedestrians and if you trip your going straight into the traffic. Plus they would be a potential hazard for cyclists and motorcyclists, I can't see how these would pass a risk assessment.

I thought from the title that you were referring to the armoured humps racing motorcyclists wear on their back to protect them sliding down the road on their backs (:-)

The crazy beggers they work in health and safety,haven't a clue,they don't live in the real world. I see the result of so called h&s "improvements" every day as I travel around and most of them are a backward step making our job harder and more unsafe than it was 20 years ago. They just dream up all this bullsh* t to keep themselves in a job......in my opinion .
