It wont fix my hearing Harold but it will stop the infections and the runny ear so I'll be able to wear a hearing aid when I'm off the bike, when you have built in ear plugs you might as well use them  |

I've got the big dressing off now so I'm looking more my handsome self lots of stitches across the top of my ear they come out next friday then there is just the internal dressing that comes out in 6 weeks time and then its job done |

Measles when I was 6 Keiron that caused the hole in the first place and its caused me problems all my life being constantly infected and reinfected pouring liquid wax down my neck ,but hopefully that is all behind me now its only taken 53 years Thanks for info Terry, it's good to learn stuff, I didn't know measles could do that. I got measles and chickenpox and mumps as a child, I remember being laid up with all three. Then when I was about 30 I got a thing called shingles, that was rough.
