I've had a hole in my ear drum repaired the large dressing remains for 24 hours ,in 7 days I have the stitches removed then in six weeks time i go back to see the consultant and have the internal dressings removed after that I can have myself fitted up with a hearing aid. While I had the hole I was unable to have one.On the plus side though my consultant said I could wear my helmet again once I've had the stitches out

Hope that's not as painful as it looks, Terry. I'm sure the next 7 days will pass, but at least it gives you time to find the handlebars.........

Sorry to hear about this Terry, I did not know you were in hospital, do you know what caused the problem in the first place, did you have an injury/accident?
