Just curious does anyone have the slightest idea how may of our favourite toys were build, I checked Wiki and done several Google searches but this is not mentioned. It does appear that they were only build for a few years, so I guess there was a lot of people employed building SDs in a few very large factories. I wonder how may are still alive and is there any way of knowing approx. how any

Yeah it is a difficult one to answer Scania hence the lack of response I think.
Also, you have to take into account the States......not called the Super Dream there but essentially the same bike.
I think it is hard to guess this one. My gut is that 1980 would of been the year that they sold the most, not only in Europe but globally combined.

So in August 1980 out of every 14 bikes registered of all makes and models- 100's of choices- one was a 250 Superdream.
That is exceptional market domination.....
