I`ve been looking to buy new flip up helmets for the wife and I and have got down to a choice of these two. Has anyone got either of these? i would like some user opinions of these lids before I buy them. right now i`m just slightly more in favour of the schuberth as they do a ladies version and the intercom/radio looks a very neat fitting bit of kit. any opinions, positive or negative welcome.

Just compared these helmets and the caberg Duke that I have now on the SHARP helmet safety scheme website, the caberg got 5 stars, the shoei 4 stars and the schuberth 3 stars. it goes to show that its not always the more you pay and the name that is the best way to chose for safety. the caberg was £179, the shoei and the schuberth are around £470. they all have the pinlock visors which I think are brilliant , I ride all year round and since I got the caberg last year its transformed my winter riding, I can actually see where I`m going now.lol I am wanting an intercom system in my next helmet and like the schuberth system but it seem that there is a wider choice of systems that will fit the shoei..... decisions decisions.......

I have the Neotec Dave, with a Sena 20S intercom fitted. I've always been size L for helmets, but the sales lady persuaded me to take a size M in this helmet which turned out to be too tight even weeks later after everything bedded in. I ordered a set of thinner linings but it's still uncomfortable after about an hours riding- very tight across the forehead!
It is a really good helmet and must have been impressive enough for me to buy as I've always been an Arai man. I always buy an expensive helmet as despite it being largely empty of anything valuable I only have one head. Had some big offs in the past and Arai did the biz. But at the time Arai refused to release a flip-up helmet with built in dark visor- I think the last major manufacturer to do do so.
I'd buy another Neotec but would stick to my guns and get the size I know suits me. You can check it out tomorrow on the ride-out? The Sena 20s is an awesome bit of kit....

It would be handy on the ride outs if I got the same kit as you have and we could keep in touch.
I`ve had a read about the 20s paul it seems a decent bit of Kit.
amazon are doing the twin pack for £360 ( the only place I`ve looked so far) which is a lot cheaper than the two for the c3 pro

Yes, we bought the twin kit. Held out for years not getting an intercom as I felt bike rides were my get-away-from-it-all experience. But being able to point out things and chat on the trip I now like....

£359.50 delivered from sportsbikeshop, does that sound about what I should be paying?
