Hi All, I've just about finished a café racer 250 (79) and I'm having a problem with the indicators. Whenever I switch them on (left or right) all four indicators flash, does anyone have any ideas. I've checked the wiring against the diagram and made sure all the earths are clean and I'm at a loss now.
Thanks

Are your indicators as per original 21W incandescent lamps and with the single supply cable/earth return via the frame, or something more modern like LED's? Are you using the original electro-mechanical flasher can- or a modern electronic version?
There is a big gotcha with these bikes around the way the indicator repeater on the clocks is wired, but first to confirm the system is still completely standard....

Hi, they are aftermarket indicators with 2 wires but I'm still using the original flasher unit.

Like Mr Crouchyuk asked, are they led or filament lamps? ?? Led's will not draw enough current to make the original flasher can work. Dont bother placing resistors with the leds to increase your current. Just buy an electronic flasher can.
