A bit pee'd off tonight. Went to start my Bandit last night and the battery was dead - just a click from the starter. No bother I thought - just hook up the Oximiser and in an hour or so she'll be good. Anyways, tonight the Oximiser light was green and I thought all was fine - touched the starter and still not enough juice to turn the bike over. This battery is exactly a year old and appears to now been mullered........suffice to say, I wont be getting another. I thought Exide was a credible brand? Unless it could be a fake of course. Will be replacing it with a Varta or Yuasa - you live and learn.

I like the motobatt fibreglass filled batteries,no acid leaks and seem to last well, pity they don`t make them in black.

Yeah I've used Motobatts a few times - great batteries.
They are a tad more expensive than a general battery but I think we can see why.

Thing is, if those clever Chinese can make a convincing Rolex then a branded bike battery is no problem

Its like the fake memory sticks from china, I've, had a couple of them, reckon to be 64gig or bigger and are hardly any size at all,and don't work properly.

Motobatt is what I'd use, bought one two years ago but not fitted it to my XS650 yet
