Today I around 11am I observed a gentleman riding an orange CJ250/360T through Stratford upon Avon.
The bike looked top dollar.............which begged the question, had he restored this machine or simply owned it from brand new and kept it in fine original fettle from brand new?
It honestly looked a day old.........I mean this bike looked good, it looked sexy like it was 1976.......if the rider had removed his lid, would he too had looked like he did in 1976?
In many respects possible a pointless post but food for thought.........

Thought I was the only one who liked the CJ250 - never ridden one but liked the look and the simple paint scheme should make restoration a bit simpler ? Must not scan Ebay ..........

Next project perhaps Mr B? You're really not helpful FB And a look at Ebay was not encouraging ..........have more than enough to do on my SDs too , though I have got two up and running on the road - one to go !

What I have noticed of late (also) is that there are a lot of old Brits coming onto ebay.....the unrestored but running type that are being sold due to 'ill health'.
Would you ever consider an A65 or Commando to fettle?

Had a 360t, blady horrible bike especially the clutch system, hated it but it got me to work for 6 months, it was origanally bought out as a cheaper repacement for the 350 the sd is a million miles better

I had a CJ250T many moons ago. Not the quickest tool around but nothing wrong with the reliabilty.

It is strange that both the CJ250/360T before and CB250RS after the Superdreams were effectively budget price motorcycles? Almost as if Honda spent too much on the SD.....

The Super Dream was a superior machine I guess. It was designed to succeed the 400/4 so it had to be good.
