I was getting ready to take my SD to a classic bike show on Friday night past, got her polished, checked oil, tyre pressures and the weather was fab, then I remembered it wasn't taxed. 
I thought to myself no dramas I'll go on line and do it, wee buns.
Got half way through process and was told my SD wasn't insured. I was pissed off big style, because my other bikes are on the same policy and I've done loads of miles on them. I phoned the insurance company, who assured me I was insured for all bikes and that all of them except the SD was on this central computer and it can't be sorted out until Monday.
I can't tell you how annoyed I was, I was so looking forward to taking the wee beast out for a spin and show it off. I ended up going on my 88 KLR 650, that was running like a pig, nearly ruined the experience
