Where were they in '79 Steve, i,m sure that's where my next project came from. It still has the original number plate supplied by them.

the shop on stratford road is still there, but vale onslow is no more dave.

I remember going to Vale Onslows in the 70s Stratford road,big queues for parts and guys serving could be a bit abrupt/ rude if you weren't sure what you were after.Quite nearby were C&D Autos who were more polite and they opened Sunday mornings selling bits for BSA's.Anyone remember Jack Butlers in Leamington Spa? My local dealer,I also wnt inside the BSA despatch area to collect my Starfire they had a competition shop open Saturday mornings,oh the memories when I were a lad lol.Happy days indeed

Sparkbrook branch property has been very rundown- even falling down! for years. I wonder if there is an ownership dispute or something? Compare the first photo with Steve's above.... It used to be spread along the street in various small shops....
