On my way home from work tonight I was following a Saab when it went to the centre of the road no indicator and stopped I went on it's inside and the bar steward turned into me sending me sprocklin to the ground , 1 clutch lever and front right indicator later all is well , I was doing around 5mph luckily , be interesting to see what the insurance say , fortunately no real damage to me or my SD though the saab had quite a dint where my indicator came into contact with it .....

glad to hear your ok, some car drivers need to ride a motorcycle to see what its like, maybe there would be more care and attention
to bike users.

The amount of bananas that cut trucks off here is unreal. Learning that 15 Ton does not stop on a dime, nor accelerate like one of your "Storm shadows", would teach many patience.

Good job you're a northerner, if you were a southern softie you would most likely have died at the scene.

Yes situational awareness is pretty poor with most drivers around here looking no further forward than their own bonnet. I have just got back in to work after watching some numpty pull around me indicating left to then block the junction for everybody including the artic waiting to pull out which was the reason I was giving the lorry the room.......

One of the reasons I've started to use a camera mounted on the bike. A picture, or in this case a video, is worth a thousand words. It's worth it to view the crap driving standards on the roads today.
