Hiya guys,, please forgive me but ive gone and bought a Aprilia Pegaso as a project .. Bought as a non runner and boy its a dog ,, sat in a garage for 3 years , some guys bought it and tried to get it going without success , hay now the fun begins .lol

Got to get my arse in gear and sort out how to put pictures on to the site ... Mate came round today and had a play with bike and found its got little or no compression. have checked everything else ,got a spark , injectors working, spragg clutch working , full battery charge ,but no compression.. So the big strip down has begun. Drained the oil that was fresh and boy plenty of white creamy shit in there.shit in the water as well.. So could be head gasket gone or piston rings ceased, will not know till the heads off... Will take photos but just gotta work out how to download, I know Iwill ask my grandkids ..lol

Already on that site mate..been trawling through pages and pages of info. Boy there are some horror stories on there.. Looks like a full strip down of parts to get to engine bits, but at least they will have a good clean up... Got some stupid start times at work this week and other jobs to do around the house so on the back burner for now ... Am taking photos and gotta get photo bucket sorted out.... Cheers mark |

Bit of a update on the pig ..sorry I mean peg.Bit of a pisser ,had to buy a dremal £40 to get a 50p nut off.. Usaral place behind the swingarm,, Got the engine out and head off and found one of the exhaust valves stuck open.. Piston head OK not scored.. Amount of gasket sealant in block and around cams so hoping what is blocking a valve ... Will wait and see... Cheers mark
