got a email last night from a nice man a mr frederick franklin chandler i have won $852,000.00 in the chevron/texaco poverty alleviation program.so replied to the nice man and got this back . It's amazing that anyone falls for those scams, unfortunately it's usually the elderly who are most vulnerable. Hold on that's us isn't it,where do I send the cheque

I had this and the guy said ill send you a cheque For a large amount so I said well send it . Cheque turned all official and very grand,biggest cheque ive ever seen,plus had to sign for it. Stuck it in the bank ..made my account look great for Four days, then puff it was gone. So in your account just log enough, for them to scam you into sending them money. which I did not bother with. Can not understand why they can get away with this as the bank should hold the "money" until its checked out and cleared not display the amount in your account? few people did sent the money they where asking off.But where soon phoning the police, when the bank contacted them asking them to put the money back.
They then sent white powder in the post which the post office discovered, as there were about ten letters in the postal system, it ended up on the news... naughty

Ever read the site where a bloke plays along with them ? cant remember the site but he even gets intouch with them on the telephone and even meeting. brave bloke because it could turn nasty.
