Lol, no a Superdream. I always do this when I go to the bank in Stratford.
The elderly are the ones who seem to dislike it the most......once an old dear even told me off.

I don't think so mate.
I just get some dirty looks when I park outside the bank near the bicycle stand........after all, my tax disc (soon to go) says Bicycle on it so surely it's okay?
What's your take on it?

I always park my bike in the cycle bays, if none available then it's up on the pavement

what as my age got to do with it? It does appear that the older generation have more of an issue with this kind of thing. That said, I'd say the much older generation. Maybe they remember a time when there were no motorized vehicles.? Don't read too deeply into it Steve.

I know you weren't having a pop mate.....was just wondering what opinions on this were, that's all - sorry you didn't understand what I was asking. I have always been courteous on the roads and have actually never had a car accident and would never cause danger to others, in fact I am an approved driving instructor still.

I'm 52,in the late 70' & the 80's i would allways park on the pavement but allways paralel to the road next to it or paralel to a shop, was to stop uncareing motorists knocking the bike over, Never had problems, Respect for property and feelings work both ways, To an average punter its just a bike, to us its our pride and joy, Its not hurting anyone on the pavement if its not getting in anybodys way,

It's one of the great perks of having a motorbike most car parks are free for us & most hospital car parks charge ridiculous fees to leave your car to visit the poor souls inside but motorcycles are free and if you need to stop in town to get some cash out of the wall we can park on pavements I cannot understand why everyone does not own a motorcycle, oh and they are fun as well
