Hi, I have a Honda cb400na American import 1980 model. It has been back on the road now for a year having sat in my shed for 15 years. I am in need of a side panel/battery side and am not sure if all cb400n's have the same specifications as I can never find anything listed for my specific model. Can anyone advise me please.

Hi there and welcome.
Do you have a picture of your bike please?
If it is a 1980 Hawk then the side panel from a CB250/400N is certainly the same and will fit, only difference being the decals.

Ok, I have just made a prize idiot out of myself. I have been looking at cbs' instead of the cm! still need to know about the side panel though please

yes Steve, sorry it is a cm. I had a senior moment there This is my bike and as you can see she is in need of tlc

The bike in the photo is actually a year later - 1981 CM400T Custom, in Candy Sword Blue/Metallic Light Blue. VIN number should start JH2NC010*  |
