Hi everyone Into my fourth night of carb stripping. So far : One jet was rattling around in the bowl, on the other carb the jet was still in place but rattling loose in its seat. Cleaned it all up, Put it all back in place....., still no go. Need to adjust the pilot screws next but ran out of time. That is tonight's job.
Ha ha..... Certainly keeping me off the couch!

Just out of curiousity are the rubber bungs in place on the main/idle jets?

Hi Yes the rubber bungs are in place. But Can anyone tell me the point/principle of having a jet with a rubber bung in it?
