This weekend I decided to change my air filter (it hadn't been done for a while and seemed to be a good idea). But when I took the seat off I was horrified to discover that wasps had started building a nest in my air filter!!! I don't know how many miles they have done but I hope none of them have got into the engine!

Blimey.
Luckily you didn't get 'stung' when you bought the bike.

Hi. Not sure if wasp urine would power a bike but "bee pee" is good fuel. Sorry. Mike.

I think I get what Paul meant now.... Bluedreamer is a young laydee not a geezer so there are no gonads to sting. Sorry Bluedreamer - just needed to explain that to some of the imbeciles on here (including me).

You two crack me up sometimes....
For the wasps- the 250n filter box I have here has a wasp proof gauze at the outlet, but it may be worth checking that this is still clear. They should make plastic bags out of the original filter mats though- I have seen 2 of mine crumble away into dust in an environmentally friendly way.....
