Yes - I have both here and they are not marked with the part number, like most Honda parts.
Both certainly fit - there are even two versions of plastic 'inspection' window for the two versions.

Is it a case of "early" and "late" calipers - I noticed this when comparing my 250N bits with the collection of NB parts I bought - was a bit perplexing at first - did not figure the window was different .

Upto 2112738 CB250N & CB250NA  From 2112739 CB250NA, CB250NB & CB250NDB (Similar finish as the above, did not have as NOS one handy when I took this photo a while back).  |

Good info on the changes na44- these frame numbers coincide with the changes to the caliper bolts (O rings to a single sleeve)
So it looks like a general redesign of the 250 caliper took place at frame 2112739. I wonder if problems were reported with the earlier type?....

Thanks for that, my covers are blue tinted. That finish, is it a matt? Almost matt, eggshell pehaps, I think the later version is more of a satin, but I've not actually had it out the box for a few years. |

I agree, good info John..
It's coming back to me now......from memory the door is not a separate part number from the caliper ass but it's the plastic inspection window that is. And it is 425 not 422. 425 is a Honda CB650.

And to further add to the confusion, the complete caliper assembly for my NDB has a middle part number of 447 which is a CM model
I need a lie down.

425 is CB750KZ 426 is CB650Z. Like I said the RS caliper is like the one used on the US market KZ.
