Hi Dave, welcome. Hope you get your centre stand sorted. It was missing on my 250, but I got one complete with pin off ebay for not much money.

My name is Dave, just bought a run down silver 250 SD, anyone else in the area let me know. Thanks to all of you who have said hi, I'll post a pic of the bike just as soon as I can get into the garage again. Not quite a Yorkshire man, just finding my way after retiring from the RAF and moving up to Patrington, we really are happy with the decision to move. The centre stand isn't off yet but I've bought a nice shiny new pin in preparation as well as some other bits, just got to remember where everything came from when it comes to putting her back together. I will be attempting to cut the bolt head off the oil filter casing later, some plonker has rounded off the nut completely but I figure that by cutting the nut off I can lever the casing off and unscrew the inners separately then just replace the bolt, wish me luck. |
