Hello I'm hoping me and my li'll ol' Honda can come and join in the fun, even though she's only sort-of a Superdream rather than a 'proper' one. I was on the 'other' forum which seemed to vanish overnight a while back, so I thought I'd poke my nose in here and see what's what Here's my ride: She's probably got as much in common with Trigger's broom as much as the Superdream, but she is what she is I've had her since some time in 2010 when my car was off the road, and gave her a bit of a spruce-up in 2013. Here's a list of what I've done (that I can remember anyway): - Made one sort-of working engine out of 3 crap ones. This one is the 'original' (by which I mean the one that came fitted when I purchased) with a gearbox & sundries off the other two.
- Powdercoated frame / swingarm / stands
- Home-built loom
- Wheel bearings & steering head bearings changed
- Front forks rebuilt with OEM tubes
- K81 TT100 tyres (though I plan to change for a set of BT45's)
- eBay-special pattern headlight to replace the long-gone square headlight
- David Silver's replacement indicators
- Genuine OEM ignition barrel (expensive...)
- Renthal bars
- Bar-mounted 12V socket
- Bar-mounted phone cradle
- Tom Tom Rider V5 sat-nav
- Carbs rebuilt with OEM parts (expensive...)
- David Silver's replacement airbox rubbers
- eBay-special H4 HID kit (to keep the power consumption down!)
- Air horns
- New OEM airfilter
- Motobatt battery (yet to be fitted)
- Some crusty old stator that came fitted to one of my many old engines (the 'best' of the bad bunch is being re-wound by Westcountry Windings as we speak)
- EBC clutch plates
- Underseat fuse box for accessories
- Hagon replacement shocks
- Krauser rack & a Givi top-box from a previous bike made to fit
- In-top box phone charger & 12V socket
Think that's about it. Upshot is I've spent far more time and money on her than she's worth, but then that's not why we do it is it? She's used for commuting / short two-up trips out / rallying and has completed (with varying degrees of success) two Brit Butt rallies to date.

Forgot to mention she's a 1989 CB450dx hence the 'sort-of-a-Superdream' comment

Hey there...... You are the Warwick Swinger, are you not? Either way.....welcome. Yep, that be me I fancied a change of username from the one I've been using since University days I remembered a couple of other bits on the bike that are non-standard too: - Jama 2-2 exhaust system (a steal for £60 or so delivered on eBay)
- David Silver's aftermarket brake M/C.
Cheers for the welcome, folks

did you get those rear shocks bushes done by the way? I'm basically there with it. I've had the tooling made, which I now own. To put them into production, essentially I can just buy the raw material and have them made. There are MOQ's however, which means I need a 'reasonable' amount of cash to do it. Without airing too much on a public forum (and in a first post!), I got divorced back in 2013 which has only just been finalised and financially it could be described as 'somewhat punitive'. That's why this wasn't progressed after paying for the tooling to be made. Keeping a roof over my head took priority... It is something I intend to re-visit, but I need to make sure that the pricing / demand isn't going to leave me substantially out of pocket at a time when I can ill afford to do so, if you see what I mean. If there's enough interest for these that they can be sold at a reasonable price and not leave me out of pocket, then certainly there's nowt to stop them being put into production.

sorry to hear of your divorce, i do know what you mean, we will have to do a poll in the near future to see if there is any interest. at the moment give yourself time to settle back in mate.
