I am honestly shocked that the drivers of those cars - including the one with the dashcam - didnt even bother to stop to see if there was anything they could do to rescue folk!!!!!!
Is life so cheap in Asia?
It was a miracle that anyone got out alive. If it had come down in the city - or anywhere other than the river - then ther would have been a huge fireball. He would have been full of fuel having only just taken off.

It's sadly true that many people on their way to work these days in any debtist economy be it Asia, Europe, America, Japan, China etc would be too scared of loosing their job and associated mortgage payments for turning up late for work that they would go past with out stopping. They would probably stop on the way home from work or if they were on a day off. The shame is more on the system which brings out the worst in people through fear than on the people themselves. I read that there was a diver in the river who got hit by the plane of something like that, not sure if he was there before the plane landed in the river. I saw too clips of this, one seems to show a yellow bus being clipped by the wing, the other clip has no yellow bus, confusing. I am sure glad I was not on that plane, would have spilled my coffee not to mention getting green river algai on my clothes. Hope there were not too many injuries, must have been very frightening.
