My old CF - registered 1973. My first camper was a Bedford CF conversion . bright red and white .. (was known as the ice cream van).. Had some great holiday with the kids in it . I think this was 1991

Looks to me like a CI Bedford Trailblazer, but with an 'aftermarket' roof fitted replacing the original lifting roof.
Was made in the same factory as my Bedford Bedouin.

I remember now it was a Leyland Sherpa. Yep! Leyland Sherpa - with a Morris badge. Was based on the old Morris J4.

Just had a quick rummage through my references on Bedford motorhomes, and I think I am mistaken Graham about your Bedford. Dont think it is a Trailblazer after all as the side windows are wrong for that model.
Doing more research...............

I remember now it was a Leyland Sherpa. Yep! Leyland Sherpa - with a Morris badge. Was based on the old Morris J4. My uncles one was had the engine in the front but I think it was rear wheel drive, very easy to learn to drive compared to a petrol car as the engine was torquey and never cut out. The back of it used to slide all over the place in icy snowy weather. When it was empty he used to put bags of sand in the back for grip!
