That is bloody totalled..... You transit murderer!!! the mechanic says the same, that it is totalled, but another worker smashed a connect van took the front wheel clean off and bent the strut up to the extent that it creased the roof, it came back a couple of weeks later all fixed but still had the crease in the roof.

that's ford Transits for you- made out of tinfoil. Mercedes Sprinter would have knocked the hedge down and bounced back onto the road.....

Yep!!!
The GMC and the CF were essentially the same wagon......and in Europe it was known as an Opel Blitz.

Really wish I still had it Chris!
Dad bought it new in 1973 for £1650 and we used it for our annual European tours up to 1980. I got my hands on it in 1985 and restored it back to the road. Unfortunately, most of the timber framing from the waist down had rotted as well as the structure over the cab.
I sold it for £500 in 1992 when I was really strapped for cash and in arrears with my mortgage........

Do any of yous remember a van called the 'Sherpa', Manchester used to be full of them in the 80's, I learned how to drive on green one of them, possibly x council van. I think it was either a Morris Sherpa, or a Bedford Sherpa.
