Hi from sunny Aus. just wondered if one of you kind "gentlemen" could rush out side in the freezing weather and get a measurement of the size of the decals off your superdream, mainly the tank and side covers. really need the size of the letters ie height and width. thanks I'll just grab a cold stubby, ward of some flies and await your replies regards Tony.

Thanks Gents, I am converting a 81, 250n dream into a 400 dream. and need the physical size of the lettering on the tank, and side covers (not very many left in my area) and have decided to make my own or have them made to suit the colour scheme I have painted Satin black powder coat on frame and two tone silver on tank and side covers but need the size of the letters .Have just gone out to the bike and noticed the darker silver (flash on the tank) probably is a tad to small for the decal lettering Height! sooo I'll have to do some rethinking :my apologies to the sensitivities of the purist amongst you all cheers Tony

Do you know what model (N, NA, NB) that you need sizes for. ?
Perhaps look on google images and drop us a link, Tony. Otherwise I think we are p*ssing in the wind, mate.

Pretty sure its an N so I'll go for that, but I had the tank resprayed not to any specs or model, hence the difference in size!! ie max height of the flash at the narrowest point (front of tank )is 34mm to 75mm at back. does this help at all? or am I just pi**ing the wind. cheers Tony

If you're not bothered about originality then your best bet would be to buy a set off eBay.

Thanks guys, thats just I what needed! I can now give the the dimensions to the sign writer. and hopefully get the job finished, by the way it was great that you included the size of the decal around the seat apron we had missed that completely!! (the original 250N was iridescent green with no decals!!)
