Hi to everyone.
I am introducing myself as today my father (now in his mid eighties) has just become the proud owner of a 1982 250 Super-dream and I will be maintaining it etc.. hence joining the forum hoping to educate myself in keeping it in running order. My farther intends to ride it over the next riding season and beyond for as long as possible. My bikes include a BMW, Yamaha, Suzuki and a 1961 BSA A10 so I should be able to keep up with him!

Its nice to have such a quick reply. I will post a photo of his bike as soon as I have dried out my phone! It got rather wet on collecting and delivering the bike today. The bike works a lot better than the phone!. It ran like a dream, excuse the pun - you will have heard it before.

Welcome Chris, and good for your dad - hope I'm still riding at that age, but getting my son to do the maintenance, now that would be a role reversal!
