Just been to collect this. On the rear it has a sticker, FLF Customising Equipment, so have done a bit of rooting around and have discovered they were based in Rotherham and made race replica kits including Kawasaki triples, Suzuki X7 and Yamaha RDs. Does anyone on here remember them or have any info on them. I've discovered years ago the owner broke up and burnt all the moulds as he had nowhere to store them ! I don't know if this would make it quite a rare item or a pile of crap, either way its interesting.

Google FLF Yamaha or FLF Suzuki on Google Images - a lot of Yamahas appear with Bodykits like yours......it may help.

got an advert in an old bike magazine, remember the bikes well, allways fancied the X7;
out of interest ,how much does the unit weigh ?

Sounds interesting..... Good find. Show us some more pics if you get chance. I wonder how you fit the thing? It looks like it sits over the tank and the rear end bolts to the frame. Also it seems that the standard seat fits and bolts straight into it. At weekend i will have a proper look and get my head round it a bit more

Looked ok when i picked it up, i will give it good clean and have a proper look over it in the next couple of days
