Hi FB. Yes, I remember that. I couldn't tell you the year though. I also remember that Irish chap playing a part in another sit com, he only had one arm and he did the washing up in a resturant, probably in the 70's or 80's. Can you jog my memory? Happy new year. Mike.

Yes, I remember the Irish fella in Robin's nest as well, now.......with one arm.
He also played the builder 'O'Reilly' in an episode of Fawlty Towers.

There's a bike connection here....the Irish guy was David Kelly, who was also in a comedy film called Waking Ned Devine, where the plot required him to move quicky from one house to another buck-naked on a bike... www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zKWxVxIPyc

The Faulty Towers one he was is were brilliant, actually I think Faulty Towers was probably one of the best tv series ever produced. I think the guy died a few years back. I think he was in a few episodes, there was one where he cut a doorway through a wall without putting in a concrete head, an engineer later came along and condemned it when Cibel arrived home, very funny to watch.

Yeah, I agree - and I think this was one of the funniest episodes.
I remember Basil at the end walking down the drive with a gnome saying he's off to see O'Reilly.
Classic!!!
