Just ordered myself a Vac bag to store the bike in. I had a couple bikes at my Dads in the house for winter but have had to bring the A100 home for the photoshoot using his box trailer. not going to the hassle of taking it back again tomorrow night, just going to keep it in the garage. I have stored my blue SS in my garage for 4 maybe 5 winters now just with a covering of WD40 and it still looks well, my garage isn't damp. But I thought I'd try a vac bag as I don't want to go covering the A100 with WD as it'll then need a wash in February for the show. If its any good I may get some more for most of the bikes.

Yes, let us know Scott....
I've often considered getting some of these. Do you mind me asking how much it set you back?

I remember looking at them a few years back and recall them being around £100, must have come down since then as they are now readily available for £40.

not sure. We'll soon find out. I don't think you suck all the air out though like you nominally do with vac bags. I'd like to get a few more for the rest of the bikes but the only issue with them that I can think of is once they are inside you can't move the bikes around if need be. Plus I usually chain all my bikes together through the wheels. I'll nt be able to chain em up if they are in a bag

You'd have to make sure your bike was 100% dry, the slightest bit of moisture in a vacuum would cause havoc.

you get something that absorbs moisture to go in the bag too.
