Thanks Cheggy. Very Very nice Chris. She's been well cared for I can see. How much work have you done on her? When I first got her, she was in quite a state - the older chap I bought her off only rode her to mot station and back for the last goodness knows how many years, hence the low mileage. But, he couldn't get down on his knees properly to clean her, so she was in quite a state! All the grease and grime had protected the metalwork and paint, so only needed bits n bobs really, and a damn good clean! My plan was to make a cafe racer, but when I saw the condition of her under the grime, I thought I'd be best to renovate her. Those pics were quite early in the renovation process, I'll have to get some newer ones done when I get chance. Work I've done is strip-down and clean/degreasing (was going to have frame and swingarm powdercoated, but they didn't need it - frame just needed a little touch-up under tank); new rear tyre and inner tube; nuts, bolts and screws replaced with new genuine Honda ones; engine casings, rocker cover, front fork legs and footpeg hangers polished; new fuel tank cap seal; front fork oil drained and changed, and fitted with new oil seals and dust covers; rear number plate replaced for pressed metal one; new clutch cable; new NGK spark plugs; oil/filter change using genuine Honda filter and filter housing seal; refurb'd FVQ rear shocks; and probably a few more things I've forgotten. Next thing on the list will be to replace the handlebar grips - it's been fitted with some aftermarket ones which are fine and quite comfortable (think they're gel ones), but I'm not happy with them and want to replace them with genuine ones.

An up-to-date pic, taken earlier this week. Engine, exhaust etc not as shiny as usual, still coated in ACF50 from her winter slumber storage, she'll be getting a good polishing soon

This shot captures the polishing I'm going to get cracking on - the new chain does look nice in this pic though ACF50 is an absolutely fantastic preserver of metal of all finishes when you're putting a bike into storage. However, it ain't cheap (about £15 for a WD40-sized can), and it ain't photogenic when wiped on chrome/shiny metal!

It's a thing of beauty Chris. A very tidy example. I do like the Helious red kicker... One day maybe.
