I came across this add, and was wondering can anyone tell me is this bike as 'bulky looking' as the 250n SD. It appears to have the same engine as my 250 Nighthawk but looks much nicer than the Nighthawk, actually I think it looks exceptionally good and well proportioned, so I was considering asking this guy would he swop it for the nighthawk or do some deal, but I am not sure if the Cd250U is big enough for me. The nighthawk is a bit small for me but the Superdream is the perfect size for me as I am 6'2" tall. Also the Superdream is bulky which I like. www.donedeal.ie/motorbikes-for-sale/honda-cd-cd250u/8285893

I sometimes see one of these in Brum of a morning......same colour as this, out in all weathers.
The rider lives or works somewhere off the A45 near Sheldon (as this is where I've seen it at least thrice).......pretty sure it's on a B plate which would make it around an '84/85.

Thanks for that, personally i think that bike looks like the old cd175 workhorse and in my opinion the superdream is much better looking

Yes I agree the SD looks better, but I still like the look of this CD250U also, variety is nice ! I cant afford to have too many bikes and I don't have the space either, If I was getting a CD250U then I would have to let the Nighthawk go, so trying to get an idea of it's size?

It looks smaller than the SD.........I reckon it's more 200cc Benly sized....
In fact, is that not what it essentially is, a Brazilian Benly?

I like the single carb also, if I have one criticism of my SD's it the carbs, that's why I like bikes with just one carb, half the problems !
