I used a bag like that as a school bag, painted the flap with gloss paint and then painted some heavy metal album cover on it, Iron Maiden I think it was

I had an identical school bag, it eventually became my fishing bag. Everyone had them and almost every bag had AC/DC written on them. I could never see anything entertaining about AC/DC and I hated the lead singer's voice.

I prefered their first lead singer, Bon Scott to the current singer Brian Johnson

I liked AC/DC and I agree Bon Scott was a better singer, I saw them in Belfast and they were very entertaining especially Angus Young.

Brian Johnson lived only 200 yards from me and Gazza even less. I knew Brian to talk to and often saw him around the village. The last time i spoke to him he was sat with a suitcase in a Working mans club in Dunston, Gateshead prepairing for the trip to Australia for his interview with AC/DC. He went straight on to Japan to open their far east tour. I was an AC/DC purist and preferred Bon Scott and it took a long time for me to accept Brian as their singer. My own thoughts were of Brian being a stand in for Harold Steptoe as he is his double. And Gazza? well thats another story..

It's a shame what happened to Gazza I saw him play once and he was a real talent.

Gazza was a legend....
1990 Italia - 'Love's got the world in motion'.....New order - best football song ever!!!
To me, that was a golden era of English footie - being 16 at the time, it was just a great great vibe.
Lineker, Lineker, Lineker........
