Just heard on the wireless that the drink drive limit has been reduced in Scotland.
They gave an example that basically means that you will get prosecuted for around a pint now rather than two pints (still) in England - just an example and different for everyone of course.
Someone raised an interesting question - if you drink in England and cross the border, what happens? It's obvious to me that you would still get done for it as you were caught driving where the offence took place (thus where that law reigns supreme) rather than where and when the drink was consumed.
I wonder if England will fall in line?
Of course, the safest thing is never to drink and drive, we all know that.
